Anonymous Global Study Investigating the functional impact of GLP-1 medications on people with Hidradenitis Suppurativa

Requirements:

•Must be 18 years of age

•Diagnosed with HS 

•Using any form of GLP-1RA medications for more than 2 months, (Ex: semi-glutamine, semaglutide, Wegovy, Trulicity, Zepbound, Ozempic etc.)

This STUDY on HS and GLP-1 medications is important. It's an area that lacks research. Your participation may contribute to a better understanding of GLP-1RA on HS symptoms characteristics.

Western New England University is conducting a study on:

Investigating the functional impact of GLP-1 medications on people with Hidradenitis Suppurativa 

Objective:

The objective of this IRB approved study is to explore the relationship between glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1RA) use in people with Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) and their perceived changes in function. 

What To Expect:

Eligible participants will be asked to consent to the study and then complete a mixed method survey, including multiple choice questions and open-ended responses. 

Confidentiality:

Your responses will be anonymous. Data will be stored securely in a password protected computer for six years, and only the primary investigator will have access to it. This study will not include any information that could identify you as a participant.
